Its core subject is the material culture revealed by excavation and survey, covering specific sites, fieldwork methods, and the analysis of artefacts. The site builds permanent reference pages on defined topics such as archaeological methods, periods, artefact types, and relevant institutions. These are maintained as stable, citable resources. News reporting on current discoveries or events is produced separately and is clearly distinguished from this evergreen reference content.

The site will not publish any form of betting content, advice presented as health, legal or financial instruction, or details of a living individual’s private life. All quotes presented are verified and accurately sourced; invented quotations are prohibited. In reporting, where a claim cannot be independently verified, it will be clearly attributed to its source and its status as an unverified assertion will be made plain. The site does not engage in speculation presented as fact.

All images are chosen for their direct relevance and documentary value. A real, unaltered photograph is always used where possible, credited to its copyright holder.
