Editorial Policy

We separate what a government or company has announced from what it has funded, scheduled or delivered, and we say which one we are reporting. Statistics are attributed to the release they came from, with the definition attached when the definition is doing real work in the headline.

Where a story involves both countries we try to source it from both sides. Where we could only reach one side, we say so rather than presenting a single account as settled.

We publish no betting odds, tips or predictions of any kind, on sport or on anything else.
